Purchasing a Painting & Delivery

Payment

Prepayment is required, payable by money transfer in pounds sterling to my UK bank account or my US dollar account, once cleared the art work can be delivered.

 

Another option is a monthly payment plan – Installment payments can be made for a minimum of £100 a month to reserve an original painting. Delivery of work is possible anywhere in London by car or van, congestion charge payable if applicable. Purchasers are welcome to pickup artwork from Janet’s studio in southeast London if they prefer, as cash payments are also welcome.

Authentication certificate or Invoice provided on request. Please note a few of the paintings already exhibited in Switzerland and France are now framed.

 

Shipping – prices quoted in pounds sterling

Shipping prices are inclusive of packaging , delivery and insurance of artwork in transit to you.

*All duties and taxes paid by buyer for international deliveries.

 

By Post mainland UK – postal tube for unframed artwork – for delivery is from £25 to £35 depending on size and weight

By Courier mainland UK – postal tube for unframed artwork – £35 to £50 depending on size and weight usually through DHL.

International – dependant on size and weight from £50 and upwards, packaging is a rigid postal tube for unframed artwork; options are signed for postal delivery, or courier delivery by  DHL, FEDEX or UPS. I will get in touch to confirm amount due. Charges are slightly higher for destinations outside the EU ie for example in Norway. Speedy delivery to USA works well with DHL.
Any import duty and or customs clearance charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Insurance

All artwork is insured whilst in transit. Once signed for and delivered it is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Artwork should be checked on arrival for any damage before signing as the purchaser will be held liable for any damage after signing for the delivery. In the unlikely event the artwork is received damaged in transit please contact Janet immediately.

Returns

All purchasers of artwork from Janet’s website are hopefully completely happy with their choice, and that the artwork will be cherished for a lifetime. If this is not the case contact Janet within 7 days of receipt. A  full refund is an option if agreeable to both parties, excluding shipping charges. Purchasers wishing to return artwork do so at their own cost, paying carriage and insurance. All monies due will be refunded on the safe return of the artwork in its original condition and secure packaging.
